Post in order. I don’t care if you managed to get all the members on this forum to post in a single roleplay thread, you will post in order dammit! It’s inconsiderate to skip over people and its understood if it is done unintentionally but make note of how many people join a thread and in what order. it's vital, its annoying but do it so we have some semblance of organization. Um, I only wanted these guys. When creating a thread that specifically targets a certain member, make sure you put that in the subject matter. You really can’t exclude anyone from your thread unless it’s addressing a particular person and it can be seen. So to avoid looking like the bad guy and excluding someone after they make a post, be sure to designate whom you want in your board by putting their name where we can see it. Don’t typ lik dis. This is not a chatroom, this is not facebook and it sure as hell isn’t tolerable roleplay material. Chatspeak in roleplay posts is not okay unless its something important like [g2g & brb] anything other than that doesn’t belong there and can be posted in the C-box where I’m sure everyone can see it. I AM GOD. God-moding. Power-playing. It’s so freaking annoying that I swear I lose hair every time I see it happening where it shouldn’t be. There are instances when power-playing is allowed and that is only when the user has the consent of the other to do a certain thing during that thread. If you do not have that permission you cannot say what their characters did or what happened to them. Goding is a little different but not by uch. God-moding means you’re basically invincible and no matter how many times you’re attacked you either dodge or don’t seem to feel any affect from the injury. This is also bad for business. If someone bites you in the face, chances are you’re going to feel it and be in a lot of pain. Make sure you get that across when roleplaying. I smack you like Pow. Auto-hitting. Kind of like the previous rule but I thought I’d add it just to be sure – and to bulk up the thread a little. Auto-hitting is when all your attacks hit and they never miss. That is physically impossible. Unless you’re fighting in a box you will miss your target a few times if you’re in a fight. We might be fantasy but the laws of physics still apply – relatively speaking.
