The Relics of power, seven significant items that foretell the nature of a potential wielder. There is no clear indication as to when this tradition began or how these items came to signify the powers within each entity that presents itself - however none are bold enough to try and steal them for fear of having their gifts revoked by angry gods. The method used to determine a wolf's element are simple and are typically performed when the wolf is nine months old. Brought here by the pack Alphas as well as their respective parents the whelp is placed before what is known as Solomon's Dias. Surrounding the dias are eight pedestals where the Relics of Power rest undisturbed. The stone structure has small stepping stones for those too short to touch their noses to the water collecting in the basin. By touching the water collected on the Dias the surrounding relics will active in accordance to the contact. [from left to right] A glittering flower that resembles a lily sits on the pedestal on the left. A fascinating golden aura surrounds it and no matter what the season the plant never withers or wilts. The wide petals are crimson and orange hued. When its user is present the lily bursts into flames but doesn't burn.[[Fire]] The next item is an ordinary rock, or so it appears as it sits on its own grayed pedestal. It is the least interesting of the showcased items but no less valuable an asset. When its user is present the rock chips away slowly to reveal a diamond. No one is sure how it ever becomes a rock again though.[[Earth]] Levitating on the next pedestal is a bubble that shimmers with refracted light. It never bursts and never collects water when it rain and is always hovering in place. When its user is present the bubble sprays the contained water into the air like a fountain.[[Water]] Very much like the Yin pedastal there is nothing here to indicate an element. When its user is present air will filter from around the area and create a small, contained twister that dances in place.[[Air]] Lighting users have always been hard to read so their relic comes to no surprise. Two rocks sit on this pedestal and neither are attractive with their rough appearance. It is when their user is present that they magnetize and circle one another, sending small electrical currents between them. [[lightning]] The most ominous item to be set upon the surrounding pedetals is the power of Light. The reason being is that there is nothing there, it is the second to last erected but nothing sits there. That is until the user of the Yin element is present. Appearing here is a direct copy, an illusion of the wielder of this element. It doesn't speak or move at all, this mirror image only smiles back and watches itself. [[Yin]] Another rather foreboding relic at least this one is physical - somewhat. One were to consider a minature vortex that feels malicious to those around it as 'physical'. It swirls and glows but does little else until a user of its element appears - that's when it springs to life and inhales air. [[Noir]] There are only seven pedastals but there are eight known elements. White is the only element that does not have a significant item to convey to others their power. When those of the white element are presented to the Relics nothing will occur - those who are ordinary, giftless wolves will also have the same results. White elementals are determined only when in contact with a stressful situation but other than that they may go a lifetime without knowing they are not ordinary wolves.
